Introduction
nmidPhpIP is based on the phpip project from http://www.phpip.net/ the source code has been changed so that the whole phpIP console is integrated into the cacti website.
Features
nmidPhpIP has removed the LDAP and User management features from the original phpIP applications. An import function has been integrated to help feeding the application with external sources (e.g. Excel sheets). nmidPhpIP also lists the ip networks used within cacti for easy navigation to the configured networks.
Cacti Integration
nmidPhpIP integrates itself into the cacti console menu. The submenu functionality is an enhancement to the default cacti functionality in order to provide enhanced user experience using complex tools like the nmidPhpIP plugin.
Import Functionlity
The import function enables a faster migration form other IP managementsources to nmidPhpIP. Allocated IP addresses/devices can be prepared using external tools and then imported into nmidPhpIP using the integrated import functionality.
IP Address Management
Add CIDR
Networks can be added using the full IPv4 CIDR support
Edit Addresses
All allocated addresses can be updated with more information.
